Cupressaceae spp. (code: CUPR0000)

• Morphology: Youngest seedlings with opposite, needle leaves. Older seedlings and trees with scale leaves adpressed to twig.
• Morphotype notes: 2022-02-06: I do not think Cupressus lusitanica and Juniperus procera (both Cupressaceae) can be told apart reliably as seedlings. Therefore this morphotype is needed where both may be planted (TZ). C. lusitanica is probably much more widely planted, though the ECHO project lists JUNIPROC. JUNIPROC may only be planted in montane areas.
